I’m Anita Salzberg, a copywriter and journalist. With my husband, Allen, I’ve written three children’s library books: Predators!, Flightless Birds, and Turtles (all published by Franklin Watts), along with articles on turtles and horseshoe crabs for Ranger Rick.
I’ve also written for OMNI, Health, and the (now defunct) Sunday section of the NY Times Magazine. My book, Confessions of a Turtle Wife (http://www.turtlewife.com), is the story of my turtle-challenged marriage. I live with Allen, two cats, 12 turtles and a ball python.

Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply–have been away from WordPress for a while. See the latest post for how we met.

He is a 13 yr old red-eared slider, with a great personality and sense of humor and he blogs about his days and includes fun information and educational tidbits. You might like to visit him sometime at http://www.lavishlifeofhenry.blogspot.com. Enjoy!
